Japanese or Korean food taste better? The biggest debate with avid fans standing on both sides. I personally love them both! Japanese is good when I want to treat myself *cos mostly quite expensive* and Korean food is good when I want to de-stress with some spicy food. Today I have picked out 2 hidden gems to face off against each other.

When I first heard about Biseryu, I was amazed that there was good and affordable beef specialty japanese restaurant inside Far East Plaza. Stepping into Biseryu reminded me of those little eateries you would find in Tokyo!
When the food arrived, I realised that the chef wasn’t joking when he said he had dishes from all over Japan! There was burger, donburi, omurice, steak, katsu and many more!
There is no exaggeration when I say that the boss really takes pride in his food! Every dish was plated with care and everything tasted great!
P.S. They have Bento Lunch Sets!

The first time I went 1 Raffles Place for lunch, I was amazed that there was a queue for a restaurant during lunch time in the CBD area! Being the typical Singaporean, I went to queue up before even knowing what the restaurant serves.
Upon knowing it was Korean food, I was excited as I LOVE it. I ordered a few dished to share with my colleagues as we were spoiled for choices. We had Samgyetang, Bibimbap, Jjajangmyeong and Pancakes.
Among all the dishes tried, I love the bibimbap as they tasted like the one in Jeonju. Joah only serves traditional Korean multi-grain rice!
P.S. They have 1 rotational dish that is going for $9.90 only for lunch time! The day I went, Bibimbap was their lunch special!
Address: 1 Raffles Place, 03-21/22, Singapore 048616
Opening hours: Mon-Fri 11.30am-3pm and 5.30pm-10pm, Sat 11.30am-3pm, Sun Closed

When you ask if I prefer Korean or Japanese food, its like asking me if my legs or my hands are more important! We want to find out which cuisine do you prefer more!
