Location: Hei Kim Cafe
First time dining at this lifestyle cafe tucked in Upper Changi Road! The concept is really interesting, the food and drink selections here are pretty extensive! Purchased and utilised the XINDOTS voucher here. (pretty worth it with the voucher but pretty expensive if you purchase the items without any promotion). Ordered the breakfast plate, eggs and rosti, rose latte and tiramisu cake. The rosti is really delicious so I would recommend that you order this dish (coupled with the rose latte) if you’re at this cafe!

Yummy supper after drinks! Where else to go? Golden Mile! Hahaha! The food there is always pretty satisfying, albeit a little too spicy for my liking… But it’s comfort Thai food!!!
Location: Yishun Park Hawker Centre
Ahoy me hearties! Yummy seafood soup from Seafood Pirates. The Pirate’s Ultimate had a crayfish, prawns, fish, oysters and clams. The most unique item was the fish roe dumpling. Think xiao long bao, but with fish roe instead of pork. I didn’t know there was soup in the dumpling, so when I bit into it, the contents squirted all over me. Full marks for taste, zero marks for my dining etiquette.
Location: Don Signature Crab
During the rainy seasons, laksa broth is the perfect comfort for our belly. The perfect comfort food offers the right balance of spice and coconut milk for rainy days, and is bound to both fill your belly and tickle your taste-buds. You can rarely go wrong ordering their side dishes such as salted egg chicken & har cheong kai! Tender, succulent pieces of chicken waiting for you.

Wanted to try Omakase super long ago, so if u wanna try, try the best one. Was amazed! Although the portion of food is so small, if you eat till the end of the course, your tummy will definitely explode but in a good way.
Location: Pasir Ris Drive 4
PRAWN NOODLES!! It is served with a bowl of authentic soup brewed with prawn heads and likely some meat bones!! Tastes especially good when eaten there!!
Location: Pink Fish
There was a lot of seats considering the crowd at Jewel. Food is decent, with a thick slab of Norwegian Salmon. Overall a good recommendation for a fast and easy meal.
Location: AJI ICHI(JCUBE)
Aji Ichi is a Japanese casual dining restaurant with concept by ASTONS. Ordered the Teriyaki Salmon Don with a bowl of Miso soup and Pork Yakiniku Tonkotsu . Portion was big and filing. Premium Niigata Koshihikari rice were used in all their Don, Bento and Sushi .Tonkutsu broth was thick and creamy and boiled for 12 hours daily. Nice place to dine in with plenty of baby seats to cater for the little ones.
Location: The Mad Sailors – British Kitchen
Had Masala Fish and Chips. Fried Pacific Dory with masala spice batter with pickled vegetables and mint chutney. It’s worth $18. Almost couldn’t finish the whole plate. It was so good and the chocolate drink was so refreshing for a scorching weather
Location: Chop Hean Kuan
This is one of those dim-sum stalls that our grandparents were eating from their time. It resides in People’s Park Hawker Centre in Chinatown, and is quite popular among the locals there. Loved the classics like the Chicken Pau and Char Siew Pau, which had juicy chunky meat and not overly sweet or salty. Egg Tarts were also nice, not too sweet. Their Siew Mai may look ugly, but they are some of the juiciest and most succulent ones I’ve had. Prices are not too high too, ranging between 1 and 2 bucks.
